EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 25, 2026 · TEST SERVICE
Terms of service
Fleet Runner is a service operated by Alexander Ward as an individual. No Fleet Runner LLC has been formed. These terms describe permitted use of the current test service at fleetrunner.app. Questions, account requests and reports can be sent to alexward1990@gmail.com.
Accounts and permitted use
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. Use only your own identity and account. Protect sign-in links, do not share accounts or impersonate another person, and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, misleading reviews, unauthorized access, or uploading information you have no right to share. Use fictional job and payment details for tests and minimize personal information in uploads.
What the service currently provides
Fleet Runner lets hosts and drivers evaluate vehicle delivery and retrieval coordination. Hosts can create a fleet and post test jobs. Drivers can apply, and approved drivers can accept eligible test jobs. Registration, a gig-driver claim, Stripe onboarding, or an agreement checkbox does not establish driver approval or insurance coverage. Identity, background, driving-record and insurance screening providers are not connected in this release.
Marketplace roles and host selection
Fleet Runner provides introductions, job coordination, limited review records, messaging and payment tools. Hosts set the job and choose whether to engage the assigned contractor; drivers choose jobs and perform the agreed work. Driver acceptance reserves the assignment, but pickup still requires the host’s vehicle authorization and insurance acknowledgment. Fleet Runner does not guarantee contractor performance or insurance coverage. The parties’ actual conduct and applicable law determine their responsibilities; describing this as a marketplace does not remove Fleet Runner’s own duties.
A screening summary shows only categories of review recorded by the owner and available review dates. These are test/manual records, not connected-provider verification, full reports or a recommendation to hire. Missing dates are identified; past reviews do not establish current safety or coverage. Hosts must review the available information and independently confirm job-specific coverage before authorizing a run.
Pricing and payment tests
The intended pricing is $29 per month for hosts, with job payments separate. Drivers join free. A 10% platform fee applies only to completed job pay; drivers keep 100% of tips and approved return-ride reimbursements. The default return-ride allowance is $25 and the host can adjust it. A driver submits a receipt for approval, approved expenses are reimbursed up to the allowance, and unused allowance is refunded. Tips are optional. Amounts above the allowance are not automatically reimbursed.
These amounts are currently exercised in Stripe test mode only. No live subscription, job charge, payout, tip, or reimbursement is authorized by this release. Creating an account does not start billing. Test subscription management is available through the app’s Stripe portal. Live billing, cancellation, refund, chargeback and payout rules must be finalized and disclosed before commercial activation; formation of an LLC alone will not turn on live payments.
Vehicle authorization and insurance
Do not arrange a real vehicle run through this test service. Before any future real operation, a host must have authority over the vehicle and confirm with its insurer that coverage applies to the specific contractor driving that vehicle for paid delivery and retrieval, including the return drive after a rental. A personal policy, Turo protection plan, insurance card, or active gig account alone does not confirm that coverage. Fleet Runner does not represent that it provides auto insurance. No one should drive when authorization, roadworthiness, licensing or coverage is uncertain.
Reviews, receipts and disputes
Reviews must describe the actual interaction honestly, including an accepted job that was not completed. Receipts must accurately describe expenses and exclude unrelated sensitive information. Do not post another person’s private information in comments. Report disputed reviews, expenses, account decisions or suspected fraud to the contact above. The test service does not promise automated resolution of every dispute.
Availability, account restrictions and closure
Features may change or be unavailable during testing. We may restrict access to investigate misuse, security issues, inaccurate information or expired approval. Driver approval may be suspended or expire; it is not a guarantee of work or earnings. You may stop using the service and request account closure through Account → Help and privacy or by email. See the Privacy Policy for data requests and retention.
Responsibility and future changes
These terms do not guarantee safe driving, completed screening, insurance coverage, earnings or uninterrupted service. They do not eliminate responsibility for negligence or other conduct, or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Liability depends on the facts, applicable law and relevant policies. The operating model and agreements require legal and insurance review before real operations.
Fleet Runner is an independent project and is not presented as affiliated with or endorsed by Turo, Uber or Lyft. Any future operator, live service or material terms change will be identified and disclosed before activation, with new acceptance where required.
Host and driver acknowledgments
The following role-specific drafts are shown during signup and accepted separately through required checkboxes. Earlier acceptances remain on record. Users must separately accept this updated version before actions that require the current agreement; browsing this page does not record acceptance. Version: 2026-10-25-draft-2.
Host Agreement
Marketplace and your hiring decision
Fleet Runner provides introductions, job tools, limited screening review records and payment coordination. You decide whether to engage the assigned contractor and authorize your vehicle for the job. A driver claiming a job does not replace your authorization before pickup. Review the scope and dates of available checks and ask for needed information before authorizing work. Fleet Runner must accurately describe the checks it actually performed; this allocation does not waive duties or rights imposed by law.
Your vehicle and authority
You must own the vehicle or have authority to authorize its use, keep its registration current, and provide a safe, roadworthy vehicle. Disclose known damage, defects, and operating instructions before handoff.
Insurance for delivery AND retrieval
Before authorizing any run, confirm with your insurer that the policy covers the assigned independent contractor operating the specific vehicle for paid delivery and retrieval, including the drive back after a rental. Confirm applicable liability and vehicle-damage coverage, restrictions, limits, and deductibles. A personal auto policy, Turo protection plan, rideshare account, or insurance card does not by itself establish coverage for this work. Do not authorize a run if coverage is uncertain or has expired. Notify Fleet Runner and the driver if coverage changes.
Screening and responsibility
Any identity, driving-record, background, or insurance checks are limited to the checks actually completed and their stated scope and date. A check or acceptance of this agreement is not a guarantee of safety, current eligibility, or coverage for a claim. Fleet Runner must accurately describe its services; this agreement does not excuse failure to perform promised services.
Job amounts and return rides
Hosts pay $29 per month; job payments and optional tips are separate. Fleet Runner deducts 10% from completed job pay. Drivers keep 100% of tips and approved return-ride reimbursements. The return allowance starts at $25 and is adjustable. Approve valid receipt expenses within the allowance; unused funds are refunded to the host.
Handoffs and incidents
Provide accurate pickup, drop-off, and key instructions. Review condition photos and cooperate with accident, damage, and insurance investigations. In an emergency, contact emergency services first; promptly notify the other party, the insurer, and Fleet Runner through available support channels.
Limits of this draft
Fleet Runner is not representing that it provides auto insurance. Responsibility for an accident depends on the facts, applicable law, and the relevant policies. This draft is not a blanket release of Fleet Runner, hosts, or drivers from liability and does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. The current app supports test jobs and simulated or sandbox payments only; this draft needs legal and insurance review before real operations.
Driver Agreement
Marketplace and direct engagement
Fleet Runner connects you with hosts and provides job, messaging and payment tools. You choose which jobs to accept; the host must authorize you and the vehicle before pickup. Agree on the job with the host and perform the agreed work yourself. The intended contractor arrangement remains subject to applicable law; this agreement alone does not determine worker classification.
Identity and eligibility
Provide accurate identity, license, contact, and screening information. Maintain a valid license appropriate for the vehicle and disclose suspension, revocation, expiration, or other changes affecting eligibility before accepting or starting work. Never lend your account or substitute another driver. Agreement acceptance and payout setup do not approve you to drive.
Authorization and insurance
Operate only the vehicle assigned to your accepted job with the host’s authorization. The host must confirm coverage for you driving that vehicle for paid delivery AND retrieval, including the return drive after the rental. Do not start if coverage or authorization is uncertain. Maintain any insurance required for your paid vehicle-delivery work and disclose lapses or restrictions. The exact coverage requirements must be established before real operations. An active gig account or your own insurance card is not confirmation of coverage for Fleet Runner work.
Safe driving and handoffs
Follow traffic laws and pickup/drop-off instructions, use a seat belt, and never drive impaired or use a handheld phone while moving. Document vehicle condition, mileage, fuel, and key handoff. Report an unsafe vehicle and do not drive it. Do not use the vehicle for personal trips or unauthorized passengers.
Your earnings and return ride
Joining is free. Fleet Runner deducts a 10% fee only from completed job pay: a $40 job pays you $36. Keep 100% of tips and approved return-ride reimbursements. Check the allowance before accepting; you pay the return fare initially and submit an accurate receipt for host approval. Amounts above the agreed allowance are not automatically reimbursed. Report no expense when no reimbursement is needed.
Accidents and cooperation
In an emergency, contact emergency services first. Promptly notify the host, insurer, and Fleet Runner through available support channels about accidents, damage, lost keys, or inability to complete a job. Provide accurate records and cooperate with investigations.
Limits of this draft
Checks cannot guarantee safety or insurance coverage. Each party’s responsibilities are subject to applicable law and insurance terms; this draft does not eliminate liability or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Current jobs and payments are test-only. This draft needs legal and insurance review before real operations.
