Privacy policy
Fleet Runner is currently operated by Alexander Ward as an individual. No Fleet Runner LLC has been formed. This policy describes the current test service at fleetrunner.app. Contact alexward1990@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
- Account information: your verified email address, account identifier, chosen name, host/driver role, home ZIP code, search radius, and account creation date.
- Driver applications: phone number, license state and expiration date, experience you describe, application status, review decisions, expiration dates, messages, and review notes. Screening providers are not connected; review records describe checks recorded by the owner, not automated background checks.
- Fleet and job information: vehicle names and plates, vehicle details imported from a CSV, pickup and drop-off locations and ZIP codes, schedule, instructions, assigned participants, amounts, job outcomes, photos, and handoff records. Nearby matching uses ZIP-based approximate coordinates; the current app does not track continuous GPS location.
- Job messages and notification preferences: text conversations between the host and assigned driver, sender and read-state records, automatic host templates and send events, and your chosen job-alert and email preferences. Chat text is stored with the job; it is not included in notification email previews. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. The app limits chat access to the two assigned participants; infrastructure providers process stored content to operate the service.
- Reviews and reimbursements: ratings, comments, outcomes, receipt images, requested amounts, approval decisions, and host notes. Remove unrelated personal or payment details from receipts before uploading them.
- Payment and acceptance records: Stripe customer, account, checkout and transaction references, amounts and statuses, subscription and payout status, agreement versions, acknowledgments and timestamps, and operational audit records.
- Support and privacy requests: request type, description, related job reference, status, owner responses and internal handling notes. These are available to the requester and owner as appropriate. Requests for deletion or data export are processed manually.
- Technical information: authentication cookies and request/error information used to deliver and protect the service. Hosting and other service providers may process IP addresses, browser information, and access logs.
Email and Google sign-in
Supabase handles authentication. Email sign-in uses a single-use link delivered through Resend. Google sign-in requests only basic identity information: your account identifier, email, name, and profile information such as your picture. Fleet Runner uses your verified identity to sign you in. It does not request access to Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files, or calendars. Your Google password is not shared with Fleet Runner. Existing users may choose to link an old ChatGPT-based profile after verifying the same email.
Google user data is used for authentication and account operation, not advertising or training generalized AI models. Fleet Runner’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How information is used and shared
We use information to operate accounts, show nearby jobs, review applications, coordinate test jobs, record reviews and reimbursements, reconcile test payments, provide support, and protect the service.
Other participants see information needed for the features they use. The job board shows approximate pickup/drop-off areas and job details. Precise addresses, vehicle plates, instructions and proof images are restricted to the job’s host and assigned driver through the app. Relevant participants can see job records, reviews and reimbursement information. The assigned driver and job host can also see a limited screening summary: recorded review categories, available review dates and current approval status/expiration. The summary excludes full reports, provider references, private application details and internal reviewer notes. Owner access includes application review and payment administration. Do not put private information in review comments.
Services involved include Supabase and Google for sign-in, Resend for email delivery, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting, database and file storage, and Stripe for payment-account and transaction processing. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a browser request. These providers process data under their own applicable terms and privacy policies. Stripe collects payment and payout details on its own pages; Fleet Runner stores references and statuses rather than full card or bank credentials.
The current test app does not sell personal information or use advertising trackers. We may disclose information when required by law, to address abuse or security incidents, or with your direction. A future change in operator will require updated disclosures and any notices or permissions required by law.
Cookies, storage and security
Essential cookies maintain sign-in and protect authentication flows. Blocking them may prevent sign-in. Access controls restrict private records, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Uploaded files may contain personal details or image metadata; remove unnecessary information before uploading.
Retention and your choices
Records currently remain stored unless removed through an administrative process; an automatic deletion schedule is not yet implemented. We retain information for account operation, resolving issues, security, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Some records may need to remain after an account closes, and copies in provider backups may expire separately.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information and closure of your account in Account → Help and privacy, or by emailing alexward1990@gmail.com. We may verify your identity and explain any information that must be retained. Rights vary by location, and this policy does not limit rights you have under applicable law. You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings; doing so does not itself delete Fleet Runner records.
Adults and policy changes
The service is intended for adults age 18 or older. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information. We will update this page when practices change and provide additional notice when required. New screening, inbox integrations, live payments, an LLC operator, or mobile-app features may require revised disclosures before activation.
